The world-renowned spa town of Baden-Baden is only 30 km from the cottage. It offers two of Germany’s most beautiful wellness spas: the ‘Caracalla-Therme’ and the venerable thermal spa ‘Friedrichsbad’, which is essentially a temple dedicated to the fine art of bathing. A combination of Roman and Irish bathing traditions has been enjoyed here for the past 140 years. Spoil yourself for a day here - pure bliss after days of hiking and other sports activities!

Baden-Baden also offers a wide range of other cultural attractions. First and foremost, the Festspielhaus, one of Europe's largest concert halls and opera houses. There are many museums, traditional cafes and "the most beautiful casino in the world", as Marlene Dietrich described Germany's oldest casino.
